Things to do in Prague for groups: attractions, activities and a weekend plan
Prague gives a group three easy wins in one weekend: the Old Town and Charles Bridge on foot, the Vltava by boat, and the city's clubs at night. Below is how to fit the sights, the activities and the night out into two or three days without wasting time in queues.
We plan Prague weekends for groups of 4 to 120 people. Daytime covers the classic prague attractions plus bookable activities (boat, beer spa, tank driving, city tour). Nightlife is reserved separately — see our Prague nightlife guide for clubs, tables and VIP entry. Full destination overview: Prague. Browse every bookable option on activities in Prague.

The photo above is from Frank Slotta’s Prague weekend with us — daytime bars and beer-city energy, then a booked night out, the same pattern as our Prague party weekend. He filmed it for YouTube (48 Uur Overleven In Goedkoopste Bierstad); more on the collaboration at Frank Slotta × Partyin.
Prague attractions on foot: Old Town, Charles Bridge and the Castle
Most first-time groups want the same three prague things to do before anything else: Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, and Prague Castle. They sit close enough that a fit group can walk them in one morning if you start early.
Old Town Square is the natural meeting point. The Astronomical Clock draws a crowd on the hour; for a group photo, step back toward Týn Church rather than standing under the clock face. From the square you reach Charles Bridge in a few minutes via Karlova.
Charles Bridge is best before 09:00 or after dusk. Midday the bridge is slow for a large group. Agree a far-side meeting point on the Malá Strana end so nobody waits in the middle of the crowd.
Prague Castle sits above Malá Strana. Budget 2–3 hours if you go inside courtyards and St Vitus; less if you only want the viewpoint over the roofs. Tickets and timed entry change with the season — we confirm opening hours for your date when we build the itinerary. A guided city tour or bike tour covers the same landmarks with a local lead, which helps when the group is larger than about twelve.
Things to see in Prague beyond that core: the Jewish Quarter lanes north of Old Town, Wenceslas Square for a central base, and the riverbank walks between the bridges. Keep the castle climb for a sober morning; save beer halls and clubs for later.

Vltava boat trips for groups
Seeing Prague from the Vltava is the second easy win. Two formats work for groups:
- Private boat tour. A private boat tour for groups keeps everyone on one boat with a set duration. Suits daytime sightseeing and mixed ages.
- Boat party. A public boat party adds music and drinks on the river, then drops you back in the centre for dinner or a club.
Book the boat for late afternoon if you want daylight on the castle side and soft light on Charles Bridge. Evening boat parties fit before a club night; leave enough time to dry off, change and meet the door host.

Daytime activities: beer spa, tank driving and more
Once the main sights are done, top things to do in Prague for a group are the ones you reserve: a beer spa, tank driving outside the city, and one shared activity that gets everyone in the same room.
Beer spa. A private beer-spa room is a classic Prague group slot — wood tubs, unlimited beer for the session, and a short rest room after. We arrange the time slot around your headcount (rooms are capped per sitting). For spa and wellness options more broadly, see Prague spa wellness. Put the beer spa on a recovery morning or mid-afternoon, not immediately before tank driving.
Tank driving. Groups drive a Soviet T-55 at Milovice, about 30 km north-east of Prague. Hard rules: age 18+, valid licence, zero alcohol. Plan it as a morning half-day with a transfer, then return for lunch. Full detail: tank driving near Prague.
Other daytime picks we book often: escape rooms, paintball, segway or bike loops, wine tasting, and a group dinner reservation before the night starts. Match the activity to the group — stags often want tank or paintball; hen groups often want spa plus cocktail class; mixed friends weekends lean boat + beer spa + one tour.

Prague things to do at night
Night-time prague what to do for groups is usually one of three: a guided pub crawl, a reserved table or group entry at a club such as Duplex, or a boat party that ends in the centre. Clubs sit close together in Prague 1; tables are sized for five or six people, so larger groups need more than one.
We do not repeat the full club list here. For how a night out runs, which clubs fit which group, and VIP vs group entry, use our dedicated guide: Prague nightlife for groups — clubs, tables and VIP.

A sample weekend plan for groups
Friday
- Afternoon: arrive, check in, short walk through Old Town Square.
- Evening: group dinner, then pub crawl or first club entry.
Saturday
- Morning: Prague Castle and Charles Bridge early, or tank driving at Milovice (sober).
- Afternoon: Vltava boat tour or beer spa.
- Evening: dinner, then reserved club table (e.g. Duplex) or boat party into a club.
Sunday
- Morning: slow brunch, optional Jewish Quarter or bike loop.
- Afternoon: last café stop; airport transfer.
Two nights work if you drop either the tank or the long castle visit. Three nights give room for both. We adjust the order to flights and to the zero-alcohol rule when tank driving is on the plan.
Prague packages that already combine the weekend
If you want a ready structure instead of building piece by piece — the route Frank Slotta used with us — start from a Prague package and swap activities in or out:
Things to do in Prague czech republic weekends for groups almost always mix one sightseeing block, one river or spa block, and one reserved night. That is the pattern we build toward on /plan.
